ARC Archaeology Training Centre to drive innovation in cultural heritage protection in the resources sector

A new $5 million ARC Training Centre, led by Flinders University with national partners, aims to improve how Australia’s mining sector protects Indigenous cultural heritage. Bringing together Traditional Owners, industry, and researchers, the Centre will develop new standards, training, and collaborative approaches to support culturally informed and sustainable resource development while addressing longstanding tensions and increasing Indigenous participation in the sector.
